What are the steps an administrator should take to upgrade their eLink version from 2008.0.0.1 to 2008.1.0.0?
Are there any steps a user needs to take with regards to this upgrade?
First, what is the process an Administrator should follow:
- Stop IIS
- Stop all eLink’s services
- Uninstall services with “uninstall****.bat” in eLink’s com+ installation directory
- Uninstall COM+ server (ie delete ‘Link Server’ entrie in component services)
- Uninstall eLink2008.0.1 with “Add/remove programs” in Windows “Control panel”
- Install eLink2008.1.0
- Reinstall COM+ Server
- Reinstall services with “install****.bat” in eLink’s com+ installation directory
