Having just succeeded in mapping drives from one flexiscale host to another, I thought I had better note the issues to be overcome:
1. Ensure File and Printer Sharing is enabled in the windows firewall
2. Ensure each machine has a unique name (start->My Computer (right click)->properties->computer Name
3. Add a network place. Initial access to a remote machine will require administrator login and password
4. Ensure the share has suitable permissions
