eLink has been called an Activity Management System but that does not begin to explain just what eLink can do for you and your business.
eLink is not just about linking all your departments, staff, documents and scheduling programmes. It also provides some great tools. In the case of Customer Support, e-mails and calls to the helpdesk are transformed into “incidents” in a standard format. These can be automatically assigned to the right staff to deal with the problem. You can quickly give answers based on the solutions to incidents already identified.
Through the Internet, anytime, from anywhere, the customer can use the eLink extranet portal to look up the knowledge base for a solution, submit new incidents, amend or verify the status of a previous incident, give feedback etc.
In Sales, time is freed up as eLink provides excellent performance monitoring and co-ordination. From first contact to point of sale, eLink plays an important role at every stage: lead and opportunity follow-up, product selection, proposal generation and planning of follow-up tasks.
With eLink, sales teams manage not only the companies and contacts they are dealing with but also tasks, documents, e-mails and opportunities linked to these contacts.
Sales opportunities can be updated and enriched with additional input from management and other departments, like Marketing and Admin, then shared with external partners. Once a sale is made, this new business relationship can be co-ordinated within eLink and its performance and progress can be measured and managed.
Managers can view, online, the entire “Shop Floor” of company activity. Daily and weekly reports sent straight to your e-mail, can flag up reminders about meetings, invoices to raise or chase up, contacts to be made etc. You can peer into one of your business projects and see who has meetings with who, what contacts have been made, what tasks are outstanding and what e-mails have been passed. eLink does this by opening these documents via whichever program created them.
You can customise the links, priorities and processes; so eLink really is whatever you want it to be.
